Candidates named Balu

Official election results identify a candidate only by name, party and constituency — there is no person identifier. For a name this common, joining every record into one career would mix up different people, so we don’t. Records at the same constituency under the same party are treated as one candidate; records at different constituencies or under different parties are kept apart, even where a single person may be behind more than one of them. Same-name rivals in one election stay separate.
